Who in the game would have a problem with Maxi playing?

Obviously he had upset people in the past, so it may not suit everyone but if people could give a quick (and please be polite) answer as to whether you would mind if he came back under his own name.

This would also be trial for him, and his behaviour would be monitored by UE (if Ben even signs off that is)

I think it's common knowledge his is Wolfsburg/Rotherham 117 and Lee Griffiths (4 teams in 119)

I would be much happier if it was all transparent.

I would love to pit wits in S5 with Maxi in 117 now I've equalled bragging rights up !

Yesterday's post was made solely due to the fact he was creating threads about peoples teams and results and ridiculing them which is not on! All of which have conveniently been deleted, so he knows he was in the wrong and that stuff has to stop.

There were still doubters that didn't think Wolfsburg and Lee were the same person, so it had to be posted to put that to bed!

Not only does it make him look bad, it makes newer members think they may be next which is a bad reflection on UE.

Personally I have no problem with him playing the game (just use your real name though, so we all know who we’re dealing with). Any deals I’ve done with him have always been honoured, and he is active on the forum (even if he is controversial at times)

I hope no one minds me posting. so I’ll be as brief as possible.

I have never had an issue being my real name, I was advised by a couple of people to try this other way and the reasons I gave it a go was because I want to be left alone. So I thought if I was Mark or Lee then the very small group that target me or provoke me will leave me alone. Sadly it caught up with me as it always does it these cases. I believe som managers may remember ‘the coming out party’ thread in a previous game many years ago where 4 or 5 different people were aliases. But I think everyone can admit that I’ve as always played the game fairly and abided by all the rules. Yes I’ve said the odd post which may have upset one or two but it was never my intention and honestly posted in a bantary kind of way. Just like the stuff I get in return.

Secondly I didn’t want to post this but feel like I have to, this is not saying this for sympathy so please I don’t want any. I can post a picture of my medication if need be. Again UE are aware of this.

Since 14 months ago I was diagnosed with depression, I do manage it well with medication, but it can be tough. Life has changed so much in the past year and a half. Ben at UE and I think 2 UE friends know all about this. I’ll be honest it wasn’t helped by the constant bullying and goading from certain managers just done to getting a reaction from me, the late night phone calls calling me names, thread accusations of cheating and other things I used to put up with from the small group on here. Yet no evidence was ever given. This was another reason I had to try hide my identity, I just want to be bothered. My alias did work for a long while which was nice to be left alone. In return I’ve been behaved and caused no trouble.

As I said this is not posted for sympathy, I just feel now is the time to be straight with everybody. I think my quietness is noticeable as regards to how I am with people. The only reason I haven’t offered to run sections is it would have highlighted me more, but the one forum cup i done from start to completion in 117 successfully shows I can be a positive influence on the forums. I love to run these sections to help the game.

Some will say like my other half does, why do you play UE then if you suffer with the mental illness? I don’t know why, my counsellor even asked me. I think it’s just the very few things in life I enjoy, feel like I’m useful at, I have my own UE routine which I follow to a t. Hence why I’ve been in UE over 10 years having no breaks from it. I just love the game.

So I’ve said my bit, I would love to stay. But it stands and I’ll be honest with all you guys. I’ve offered to leave 117 which has been accepted by Ben but it was told to me I would have been removed anyway to keep the peace in the game for you lads. Which is fair enough so I removed myself from your forum yesterday, Ben said he will speak to me next week when he has time. But I’m not hopeful about the future. However the big refund would come in handy before Xmas for my newborn daughter is the only positive I can look at.

So that’s my piece. if this is it, it’ll have to be it. I won’t try coming back again. You have my word lads.

Honestly I've had many ups and downs with Matthew over the years but I've never believed he should be removed from the game.

However it's probably a different question to whether he should be allowed on the forum. I would say enough water has passed under the bridge now but the rules of the forum should be strictly followed and the relevant action taken where necessary should it be required.

That said I do respect other managers have had other previous incidents with him and may not be so forgiving, that's there right to do so which I can understand but otherwise I'm fine him being in the game / forum.

Maxi top up your teams, if people are that against you let them decide whether they wanna stay or not. Nobody seems to have a problem, if they do then they’ve a decision to make. Though for the good of the game nobody will leave, and season 5 shall remain highly competitive!!! Come on guys, it’s only a game after all
