If a players max is over 50m (in the case of Pele and co) then just have the 50m advertised I say...
That way the fun of getting close to max remains (which I love but can't pretend to me be good at it lol) as well as maintaining the 10 slots for deals.

The over 50m is irrelevant though for this as all teams should have above 60% DC come season 3 when the players are added.
The adding 120 players or so also kind of means training up players and the pot ones becomes partially irrelevant. More I think about it more I dislike the idea. But happy to be in the minority.

Personally I'm not really keen on this for 117 or current games.
As a manager of a smaller team, the sudden influx of high rated players in ROTW seems to negate all the time and effort in developing my players to use in my team and deals.
Also wouldn't want real legends to be introduced, seems weird to suddenly have Pele pop up in a non legends game!

I loved game 117 until the end is season one, at this point loads of top random otl players were added to random squads and deals went a lot quieter between managed clubs. Plus players that I had spent a large period of time developing were then too low as the level par for a players rose too quickly... the game got ruined (imo) and I left.
I really hope that this idea is either decided against or at least massively limited to only lower rated players or a much smaller quantity or for me player development becomes pointless.

I agree with thegulls & ronem on this one. Would rather keep 117 as it is & if we are gonna trial new ideas they should be implemented in new games

Yea but who's gonna have that much around as most will be in debt or collecting cash

Be hard to get that sort of cash Gothenburg are awash with cash in 117, Mick. Lots of clubs will be in similar positions as there is very little to spend money on. Affording players isn't an issue. At the end of season three I'd expect to see a hierarchy. It would be unrealistic if a club should suddenly emerge from nowhere because they find world class players hiding in Cape Verde. Does anybody really worry about EoS bids? They are a gimmick; a red herring.

That's correct but still what's the chances of finding players like them in 117 or 118. And most or the cash we get are mostly bided from ROTW then a manager

The chances of finding high stats players are obviously good if UE implement this idea. I thought that was the point of the thread....

Very high level idea and refreshing to see so many new things being implemented but I too wouldn't want it to happen to 117 or 118 as it takes out all the development etc and so much time soent on developing a team for someone to walk in and build harlem globetrotters quickly.

Admire the idea, not keen on the number of regenerated stars though. Completely agree it takes the player development out of the question. Why would you spend all the points on potential players in the hope of moulding a superstar when you could spend all the points on cash, save it til end of season, and buy 2 guaranteed 100oa 38pvs?

Don't think it should be added to 117 as we all signed up for a standard HFG so maybe the next game you bring out to trial it then?

I don't even bother with eos bids and save my cash up to buy points to make my own players better and enhance their development, to be honest I think far more do the same also.
