They were the best games, deals were easier to do and you had to spot a player rather than take him as he has pot.

Now that would be a real HFG game in my opinion. I would certainly put more work in.

For those interested is it a game just without the SA's and POT or does it need to be higher stats as well?
I ask as some ask for either and it often gets rolled together in this kind of thread.
Personally I don't think we should ever revert back to the higher stats but wouldn't object to see a game without POT, SA's etc.

You will have a tump of cash, with the quality of your squad perhaps a 100m or so with the major clubs like Madrid, Barcelona having debts of around 450m so with you having a lot of cash they will come to you for it. In addition to that you will be able to buy scouted players from turn 1 onwards, whereas the big sides or sides in debt can't buy scouted players till their debt is cleared which takes a good 10 turns plus. So imagine having a 10 week head start on scouted players over the top sides? Sounds like a great challenge and advantage to me buddy.

Sound shit TBH, excuse the language. Just an HFG without the points. Only Barca and a few others will have that much debt. They will sell 7-8 players and be debt free. And still have a great team. No point in playing that game. If you don't have the dollars for a big team no point in competing.

Got to agree the legends game should work just because of the players involved but after all the hard work moving the game forward why go back

My Kaiserslautern team cleaned up in Germany and many of the smaller teams became brilliant. In 107 the big teams struggled as the little teams dominated so it isn't the doom and gloom that you think.
