On the international turns, there's a list of top players by OA & AR and it has their clubs on it. A huge advantage

Perhaps disable it for a few turns, make people graft and find players through scouting

International management is a huge part of the appeal to this game I think,
Pele and Fat Ronaldo
Maradona and Messi
Ronaldo and Eusebio
The combinations are endless!
If you're lucky enough to get a national side, you're lucky enough to collect the scouts that come with it.
Im all for measures to ensure fairness in the game, and little tweaks here or there to help, but interfering with a huge part of the game in international management to achieve it is not an option in my opinion.
If the game was to be 100% fair, then every team would start with an even amount of players with identical squad value and cash to spend, where's the fun in that?!

If your an international manager you should be able to play whoever you want, however I do agree the legend players should not appear in the squads when first scouted to take away that easy option.

But it is a luck of the draw and randomly allocated as far as I can see so I think it should be at least delayed. Certainly needs thinking about.

Which I think then would work fine as the best European players will already be at clubs - and come season 2 the best South American legends should have been found by scouting.

When you use UE points to increase a players potential, that player can’t be transferred for 8 weeks
no pot player to be sold for cash
pot players can only be sold once per season between clubs
internationals
start with a set squad of players with only a few of the better legends included
do not list these missing legends on turn sheet until week 13 so as to not give the heads up on scouting to that manager although manager can call up any legends he finds himself or are found and signed by another team and are now know to everybody
scouting
only except bids on scouted player if that team has himself scouted the players team
any doing otherwise will have been deemed to have shared a scouted find and will get a 2 turn transfer ban

Not bothered about the restrictions on internationals as I don't hardly scout them. Don't like the POT player cant be transferred more than once as it restricts what many of the wheeler dealer type of managers enjoy.

wheeler dealer type of manager has always been a pet hate of mine to be honest nothing worse than being outbid for a player you really need only to see the manager that outbid you put the guy up for swap the very next week

So I don't think restricting them of there own enjoyment is right.

Not having National management isn't an option. There are so many great legendary national sides, it would be wrong to not let managers compete against each other with them.
National squads not containing, or containing a limited number of legends I'm not a fan of. It feels wrong and messy.
What is possible is disabling national team seam scouting and management for 1-3 weeks.
I've never really had a problem with national team scouting, but if enough people are in favour of it, it's something that can be looked at.

Definitely in favour of that, Ben. Scouting an international side is like a one-stop shop for the high OA players.
I have no issue with international management being a part of the game but would like to see players only appear in the report once they have been transferred into the game. A manager could then guide England to the obligatory title without receiving a scouting advantage over those not fortunate to be given a country to control.
