I have an idea that I would like to put forward to UE and would love fellow managers thoughts on this.
Given that it seems so many sides in games tend to live in the red or have low balances as regards to cash, so come turn 26 when managers are allowed to buy from unmanaged sides instead of cash only deals why can't we offer of a player swap as an alternative to cash only? Obviously with the UE computer deciding on what deals are acceptable anyway it seems like a pretty easy feature to set up and no unmanaged sides are being raped. Cash only gives unmanaged sides cash that they don't need, seem to use and those sides become depleted. I would suggest the way to make the offer would be just to enter the deal as you would an agreed deal and then the computer decides to go with the best offer for the offloading club. Adding this feature will allow all sides to make offers for players instead of those who have cash.
What's everyone's take on this?

I think that's a fair idea, perhaps better than the cash buy. Teams don't get hammered and if they lose a top player they are compensated by at least as good coming back in

I would stand corrected if I am wrong but can't unmanaged sides only sell 1 player at the end of the season anyway? If so, would they become depleted after the sale of 1 player?

This doesn't work for me. Who decides if it's a good deal for the club? Can't trust a computer for that. Keep it as it is. Woooooooo

Offering players in exchange as part of the EOS bids isn't something we are going to consider.
