Why is there such a shortage of fullbacks in 118 with having 9spd and 9 agg most teams won't play them with out these stats and teams that are lucky enough to have these players know there's not many about and takes advantage of it,

Can a full back with 9spd and 8agg play just as well or 8spd and 9agg for example ?

There was no plan to create a shortage of full backs, but some positions will be easier to come by than others in every new game.

It's simplistic to say a player with a spe 9 agr 8 full back will play as well as a spe 8 agr 9 full back. It depends on the tactics you are playing, and the players and tactics of your opponents. Both full back have different strengths.

I'm sure all managers would like full backs with 10 for spe, agr, sta and tac, but it's not always possible. You have to play what you have and what you can get hold of. How much of a priority you make signing what you see as a suitable full back is up to you.

FB is the only position where there are 2 untrain-able stats in the PV

id say PAS, CON, SPE and TAC for a FB

Makes me chuckle that people want 9 speed full backs yet play 6 speed CBs and defend deep.

And more amazingly people play 9 speed full backs with 4 movement

All well and good running fast but not much use if you can only do so in a straight line.

Variety is better. Played a previous PBM game and in certain games, certain quality of player was flooded in the game. Killed it for that type. Much better to have a realistic balance of players that suit all different styles. Where's the fun in making enough quality players to go round for everyone.

Is there a way of making a midfielder a full back? Possibly with UE points.

Example in real life James Milner.

Points can't be spent on giving players versatility or Def/Mid/Att. Some youth team players can develop Def/Mid/Att at the start of, but there is no way of controlling which ones.
