One of the key things with my team is balance, I didnt want to squeeze players in to play positions they didn't naturally play and wanted a team that I believe would actually be able to play together, with this in mind I also made sure the CM's had height and steal to allow the wingers to attack. The natural thing in a game like this is to pick loads of forwards as they grab all the headlines, but for me defense and a teams spine is key to any top team so I build around Beckenbouer at the back and a spine of Schmeichel, Beckenbouer, Vieira and Romario (which I believe are all arguably the best players of their generations).
I also wanted to blend the legends I remember so fondly growing up with past legends I heard so much about (Best & Beckenbouer etc) and not be biased to only one time in history.
