Transfer listing players for less than min value.

Placing players on the transfer list for below their min value will get a guaranteed bid from a ROTW club. This change is under review and may be removed or changed if it seems it is bringing too much money into the game.

I think there's a danger that this could flood the market with too much cash.

Understand its an experiment and see how it goes. Could be good to limit the guaranteed sale to one player per team, per turn or something?

I'm Also a little sceptical on this one. I would be onboard with what tilly said, i would also think it could be good if it was guaranteed that u would only achieve less than their minimum value.

Yes, the bid would match what they were put on the list for, below their min value.

Will see what the consensus is regarding limiting it to one player per turn, so let us know what you think.

When is this coming into effect? I think it's too strong the other way tbh.

Also I have agreed cash deal this turn I would now not be so keen on doing if it's become this easy.

Guarented bids is good but they should be random and anywhere from full asking price to 10% under min. That's more accurate and makes cash harder to get.

I feel like the cash selling combined with the point buy is too strong and abusable.

I would say about 50% under min tbh.

People are going to be less inclined to sell for cash via the forum if they have the easy option of selling this way, particularly for smaller sides who rely on the cash deals as they don't have much muscle to do many swaps.

I would go along with about half their minimum value would be fair.

Otherwise us smaller teams will struggle in the cash market as we are pretty much already ruled out of the swaps market.

To be fair there is not many people who put a decent player on the TL so I dont see what the issue is with this! This is being introduced to get rid of the poorer players which other managers don't want! Like your 8 speed FB's and Wingers say!

I'm for it - it's not like you will be listing 5 players every week!

Think your missing the point...

If a big club can always generate just under max on every player why bother selling decent players to other managers when they need cash? They will just flog average/poor players to the ROTW.

Cash deals for decent players between actual managers will not be necessary and lower rated teams will get less chance to improve.

A little more cash (a few more offers from ROTW etc) would be helpful but too much will damage the game.

I'm with Pezzer, but 'Gulls' does have a point in terms of the larger teams (although I think the game is now established for the larger teams not to be in this position now ?)
Perhaps this feature can only come into effect s2 so it does not effect big teams coming out of debt ?

Umm, it's just under min on every player.

I don't see a problem with it.

Sorry, my mistake... read between appointments.

Yes have to agree, min is not too much of an issue, I thought they were referring to max!

So we would be able to sell every player guaranteed £1 under the min? It does worry me that cash would be somewhat worthless. Suppose we would only know after trying.

It would also mean that we could sign trialists every week or at least when there is something half decent then sell him for cash the next

You could also buy multiple ROTW players for next to nothing and then sell them on.

I paid £100k last week for one and his min is around 4mil or so. Do that often enough and you're laughing!

I'm sure 99% of managers will behave but there is always that 1 who will rip it

I think the problem comes partly from the fact you can buy ROTW players for next to nothing. If you could buy them at their minimum then it wouldn't flood the game. I know in 117 someone bought a 94 for £1 this week his minimum I'd guess is near £10m. That doesn't seem fair if he is then selling that player for a £10m profit in one week.

It's probably best if players get put on the list for £0 with the guarantee of a sale. They would attract a random bid between £0 and min but it might then involve a financial loss. That seems fair as the idea is to provide an outlet for the unwanted rather than a certain profit.

This sounds good.

That sounds a better idea. The uncertainty would still mean it would be best to push cash sales elsewhere if possible. I'd probably still like to see it limited to 1 per week as it still could be abused by selling trailists etc..
