Seeing in game 117 scout finds are ridiculously good because you updated the scout finds, a bit to much should we say, none of us can shift any players for cash to managers as everyone scouted many good players, this is making it hard to do more deals and making the game slow down. Maybe updating it so the Rotw teams bid more through out the whole season for players from all 3 squads also in fact you have more chance of selling and getting cash. Could you do this? I know you say teams get offers for players but that hardly ever happens

Yeah you get the odd bid from rotw but nothing much can't even shift 35pv players on forum

We were just discussing this.

Could I suggest a period of ROTW clubs actually buying the players we list on the TL to get the market going again, the game feels like it's grinding to a standstill. We had this in PFF. ROTW was OTL outside this league, and we were guaranteed to shift them once the were listed on the bidding market, a window of a few turns where we could shift them could hopefully get the game going again, careful what we wish for next time!

At the month of you place a player on the list for less than his minimum there is a reasonable chance a ROTW club will buy him. Increasing this chance is an option.

Less than minimum I think they should bid no matter what even for mid range of there price more often less than minimum is not going to get any one selling

Agreed I can't shift anything just look at the cash sales on the 117 forum about 30 posts without a single bid the cash has dried up I can't even get a bid for a 36 pv/tm/cf with 10 agg age 21 oa 94

Maybe I'm getting mixed up but I thought you couldn't sell a player for less than minimum?

How about an option where if you could 'instant sell' then you would get say a 1/3 of his value?

You can if you list them on the transfer list mate as you can list any player at any minimum value even £0

Less than his minimum?? How we meant to make money if we do that?? Would it not be better for ROTW teams to buy our players, even if it's 1 week a month, and for all 5 players to go for what you put them on for (assuming you put them on for less than max). No one has the cash to buy players (as mentioned above by the countless cash sales threads that remain unreplied to) and with scout finds being relatively easy to pick up, why would they??

We are allowed to buy ROTW players from scouts and the transfer market, so why couldn't it be guaranteed that we could sell our players to them?? The turn bids (in 'personal messages') are few and far between from my experience, plus 1 every blue moon for a player I don't really want to sell, and for way less than max, is pretty pointless?

You can buy scouted players for considerably less than their minimum, so you can get worthwhile money from selling them. And if there are players in your squad you don't want and are struggling to offload, it is an option worth considering. Just because you put them on for below their min value, doesn't mean they won't go for more than that.

We have had situations in the past where there was too much money in the game, and nobody put players up for sale, just up for swap. Putting players on the list for anything less than their max value and them automatically being sold would flood the game with money. It's about finding balance, not going from one extreme to the other.

ROTW teams to bid for players on the list, as well as making speculative bids. The amount of these is something that can be increased, and we'll look at this for the next turn.

This really has to change somehow.... Had loads of players for sale and only got 1 bite.... And every sales thread you see has good players with no bids.... It doesn't feel right.

Surely this makes financial stability even more important.
Since I started playing I have heard cash is useless cash is stupid. Not now lads.

Damned if they do damned if they don't. It seems they can't win.

If you mean because the inability to sell for cash has stemmed from their increase in great scout finds (due to player request) then I agree, we have caused this by moaning about the scouts being poor..... But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be fixed, surely?
