Game 118 will be a normal game, will start late August/early September and will have a Thursday deadline, and we are happy to take requests and bids for top teams now. With a number of people coming over from Pure Fantasy Football, we want to use this game to welcome as many new managers to the game as possible, and want to give brand new managers priority where we can. So we won’t be running an open auction for all teams. We will also do our best to accommodate groups of managers that want to go in the same league together, as this can be good for the community. Can I suggest not launching it till 1st September?
If you launch it late August the transfer window wont be closed so people will only moan when a player signs the day after etc and some teams will be unbalanced until the window closes.

Agree with this, Will. Not only for the transfer window but also cos a lot of folk will be on holiday late August (I don't get back til 31st August myself).

It will either be the week or two before or the week after. It will take time to finish all the transfers, so if we waited it would be launched on the 8th.

Can i ask what is happening with the European/Russian/Turkish/etc League?
Is this still a league that you can pick whatever european team you want?

Agree, we should wait until all teams have their full squads together. 8th Sept is a good shout.
Could you imagine for example if Juventus sold Pogba, Bonucci etc and then the game started and then Juve buy some top players on the 30th August... that manager (whoever they may be) will not be a happy bunny.

Would it not be possible for turns to be sent out on Friday 2nd September, with the first turn being Thursday 8th?
A lot of the work could be done leaving only small changes to teams regarding deadline day?

I won't be leaving this game. 1 hfg 1 efg is find for me. This will have a life span of at least 5 seasons whereas an efg is usually 3 seasons
