Are we at a point where we need more game options?
We currently have the HFG and the standard game but we are now facing a decision about dumbing down the HFG to make it the NQSHFG (Not quite so hard format game). UE are responding to a swell of opinion so there is obviously a demand for a game that says 'Difficult' on the tin but is actually not too taxing.
So maybe we can retain the HFG but bolster it to make it a premium product for the Yorkie eating manager; the NQSHFG for the man who claims to eat Vindaloo but dreams of Korma and, finally, re-open game 111 but only allow in eight sides, one in each nation, with a written promise from Ben's Nan that you will do the double every season and there will be a magic wishing tree on the pitch and an Enchanted Goose will shi.t star players into your youth side.

I like the way it is, even if I keep getting outbid him getting closer and closer and so are others (Natty in particular) only thing I would change is for the first few weeks is leave the players off the transfer list for people to scout. Couple of examples , a few of us SPS Rashford last season (some of us 4-5 times) and got nothing but then he gets put on the list straight away, so we all wasted our time SPS'ing him. Then this turn i scouted Morocco, not one find on the team sheet but then on the list a Moroccan dude oa94, surely he should be in the squad? So instead of battling with 2-3 managers who also scouted them I'm battling with everyone in the game to be spoon fed a quality player lol Kinda makes a mockery of the scouting and SPS imo. Others will disagree but it's just my opinion

The point you make about the Moroccan has a very good explanation.
It is to try to encourage managers to scout clubs not nations. If all the best players arrived in their national sides just because their OA qualified them then all you'd need to do is 'goal-hang' around the national teams.
A player does not get into the National squad until his promotion is triggered by being found. It therefore gives a bit of confidence and purpose to scouting clubs like COD Meknes.

So you scout COD Meknes, find the player. You have a gem, then you realise he's on the transfer list for the whole game to bid on

I think there needs to be a traditional HFG game.

No potential, No SA, No UE points. Stripped back to the basics.

This player has been generated simply to be added to the list same as those over the last few weeks. It's not a new thing, players get added all of the time. In game 107, I scouted Otelul in Romania and found nowt. The next turn Viner picked up a great player there. It's how it goes but UE wouldn't let you scout him and then put him on the list that same week.

Sounds great but without UE points to balance it out, it just becomes a dick-waving contest for those who manage Barcelona and Real etc. You'd need to dump absolutely enormous debt on those sides in order to have a game for all.
Workable though.

So what's the point in scouting or SPS'ing if all the elite ones are just put on the list? Is what I'm asking really

I would guess that there are a few excellent players hidden around the ROTW clubs. UE merely introduce a few others onto the transfer list to create a buzz. This Moroccan lad is generating a debate here whereas, if he was sitting in the COD Meknes squad, we'd all be blissfully unaware of his existence.

I've been given a tip-off this week for a player at SC Gagnoa, is it any worse that UE put a player on the list than give out scouted tips. On the list we all get treated the same whereas if you and I got tip-offs and mine is a 35/95 PL and yours is a 34/83 FR then one of us has a right to ask why?
