As we are all looking forward to the start of 117, I thought I would see what sort of things we would all like to see. Let's be realistic with this and think of some minor changes and not major overhauls because that's not going to happen by then!

I will start the ball rolling.....

Most of the leagues like the Benelux, Sogaz, Ligue 1 and many second divisions are great or quite from the start.
Most people want to start with an English team so why don't we have a division three and maybe four!
I think a lot of people would like to see how they could progress through the leagues.

We all love the game so that's why we pay! Hopefully we can all pitch in and see some improvements that we would all love to see!

Yeah Gary really like the idea of extending the more popular leagues. Certainly think that would increase the longevity of a game. Think 115 started with a half populated Benelux or Russian league.

There does always appear to be a scramble for the English leagues, the cups could still be divided to upper and lower so not to conflict with fixtures but there could still be the opportunity to break into the top divisions in England.

Think it would create a much more competitive edge too as more people trying to play against their mates etc.

One of the better ideas I have seen put forward I have to say. No major structural changes that are apparent so could be beneficial to ue.

I think the idea of a division three and possibly four is brilliant. I for one would love to see if you can progress through the leagues. On top of that there will be more to play for with regards to promotion. This would keep people interested.

Added idea maybe a playoff system for promotion from these leagues? Top two automatic next four playoff for one spot?

Unfortunately we cannot change the fundemental make up of the game - 8 Leagues, 2 divisions, 14 teams in each, 8 FA Cups, 8 League Cups etc.

I suppose it would be possible to replace one of the current Leagues with another made up entirely of English teams but it would have its own cups and would remain seperate. Promotion and relegation could possibly work by transferring the teams at the end of the season.

I have played a play by mail game before and it included legends. For example a Kenny dalglish at Liverpool , cantona at united , each team starts with a legend which will be better or have the potential to be better than the other players , you can also sell or swap your legends to other teams

At least that is an option ue. I don't think you would have a problem there.

Instead of league cup and FA cup for prem and championship you could have the Johnstone paint or whatever that's called these days.

I guess you could look into this if you keep records of previous applications to see how many request English Spanish Italian by comparison with Benelux.

Maybe if it doesn't take too much tweaking, market the idea as a possibility and measure the amount of interest it would generate. If you don't get 56 applications for the English league then maybe don't run it, but I think you could be on to a winner

Yeah good idea UE. Call the other English league the ( English Tier two league ) or something to that effect. Then transfer the top three for tier two over and vice versa with the bottom three from English tier one.

One thing ive always wanted to see is being able to change tactics during the match.

So for example if you are leading 1-0 with 10\15 mins left you could change to support defence and defend from the front. Or if you need a goal tell your defenders to push up ect ect.

Ue would it be entirely possible to do a complete mash up? where we put the best teams all in one league and can get promotion and relegation and cup matches for that league but dont know how champions league and uefa cup would fit?

European Division 1

1. Barcelona
2. Juventus
3. Real Madrid
4. Bayern Munich
5. Chelsea
6. Manchester United
7. Manchester City
8. A. Madrid
9. PSG
10. Dortmund
11. Arsenal
12. FC Porto
13. Zenit
14. Benfica

European Division 2
1. Liverpool
2. Sevilla
3. Valencia
4. Milan
5. Internazionale
5. Roma
6. Tottenham
7. Marseille
8. Schalke
9. Ajax
10. PSV
11. Celtic
12. Sporting Lisbon
13. A Bilbao
14. CSKA Moscow

and so on and so on it would require some reworking of the game and the leagues are based on recent successes such as Titles, Cups, and European qualification and strength of league last.

it would be a challenge to take a small side from the lowest tier all way to the top - of course it would take a long time but that could make the game appealing as more long term game.

All I want is the trialists to be at a reasonable standard come season 4/5.

You should only be permitted to 1 team so say for instance you wanted to change team to another division then you can't.

Would be nice to see 2 English divisions but don't see the benefits of swapping the top 3 from 1 league and transferring them to the other league.

M6 major gripe is with scouting and trialists.
You want us to pay for season tickets but what does this give us. In ue. The minority that do run there youth team struggled to just field a team of under 21s this year. The trialists are still in the 60 and 70oa. Needs progression I feel.

have to agree on the trialists and scouting issues certainly needs tweaking.

my suggestions are that

a) being able to praise a reserve/youth team
b) the ability to scout for players of a certain age.. i.e 16 to 18yo.. 19 to 21yo.. 22 to 26yo ect. ect.
c) separate the capacity/condition improvements, so that if you're happy with the capacity you can still improve the condition or vice versa.

hopefully these are just minor tweaks that can be inserted with little or no bother.

I think point B is a good shout, instead of scouting a position, scout an age group instead.

I like the idea of that, 4 tiers of the English Teams and swapping the leagues, but would you be able to bypass the top 3 going into the champions league of the lower English league?

Yes a very good point, also the Uefa Cup qualifiers as well. Practically the whole of the Premier League could qualify for Europe!

A few things I would like to see:

•changing tactics mid game would be great!
•player history/career stats as an extra print, I'd love to see players goal scoring records and ar% at their previous clubs over the course of a game
•overhaul of player scouting and trialists, I think trialists need looking at especially
•maybe some sort of coaching recruitment, the better coaches you recruit, the more effective weekly/specialised training would be

All great ideas imo. Agree scouting and trialists need to sustain interest into seasons 3,4,5 etc.
I also think perhaps 2 or 3 extra action spaces could be avaiable if you manage res and youth.
Think UE need to make managing all 3 squads a little more enticing possibly ?

any chance of changing your team names to your own??

any chance of being allowed to name one of your potential players in your name ??.............i would love to see steve watkins scored the winner in the champions lge final lol

i think the games are to similar , the games is to structured and doesnt allow you the obvious things that should be in the game , like changing tactics half way through a game, you cant rely on just subs!!

the scouting is a joke , the low stats mean that all the row teams are 70+ rated players, your trialists are awful, where as they say above is my incentive to buy a season ticket as i wont be buying one just to have one extra trainging place in each team??
