Only for non legend games.
At the start of a new season 100-200 legend profiles (randomly selected from a list of entirely personalised legends - there are currently around 1,500), will be used to create new players that can be found at rest of the world teams. Their age, nationality and name will be randomised.
There will be an OA limit for each season (some players wouldn't be eligible for season 2 for example), and there may be a, say, a 30% chance the player's nationality is the same as his legend profile.
If this seems popular it will be added before the new season in 117.

I don't personally like the random names ending up being the best players in the game. Like all the African scouts become super heroes etc. This feels like it would just add to that. I get that your trying to prolong the game but it would also feel a bit gutting to build up a team and then see a load of 100 OAs arrive like it did middle of season two in 117.

On the other hand of that though, the addition of legends would encourage people to stay in the game and give those a chance that have not built the side they want. That would keep them in the game. So I say why not, give it a go then assess how it goes. If it doesn't quite work then no worries don't do it again

Yeah I think if they were the actual legends that would work - I'd far rather that than some random dude with the legends stats.

Im the opposite, i prefer the unknown being the better players as it means more work in to finding them instead of going to 'Botafogo' for Romario's son or whoever. Lets be honest most people go to Brazil and Argentina to scout first few turns, so to have this spread out all over other sides would make it far more challenging and mean more work has to be put in each season to find them top players. We frequently read moaning of rubbish scouts being found, well this would combat that issue for so many managers. Its a yes from me!

Any ideas that potentially improve the longevity of a game i personally would back 100%.

Makes sense as row players don't seem to improve stats so becomes a bit worthless by season 3. I'd prefer random names and not the top legends.
Would they have the over 50m listed at max rule as well? that would be best imo.

The best top players I'm saying should already be at clubs and in the game. The scouting shouldn't become too over-powering. I personally prefer to have a team of players I've heard off but each to their own.

Not sure I like the idea of this, think it will make it even harder for a small team to compete, especially if they are listed at 50 mil

I feel also its a bad idea sorry but it will kill small teams off and won't make people stay longer they will just get fed up with no players to go for and deals between team will be less too

I'm not a fan of changing the structure midway through a game. I'm not opposed to this being used in the future but not in an existing game.
The Legends game stands on it's own and would be demeaned by the addition of those players to each and every game.
Equally, the adoption of the advertised max values of top players in every game would be the end for me. Being told what to bid and waiting for a lucky draw does not constitute skill in my eyes. The only way that I would not object is if we reduced the number of deal spaces from 10 to 2 so that managers who love to deal have the game diminished for them too.
