Matthew has been banned several times before, with good reason. It wasn't a ban I was planning to review (it was Justin's decision to give him a second chance before). On Thursday it became clear that he has been managing teams in 117 and 119 under fake names, as some of you already suspected. He has now admitted as much and we've exchanged several emails on the matter. Since he has managed teams in 117 and 119 under pseudonyms, he hasn't caused any problems on the forum, giving an indication that he has changed, and maybe worthy of another chance. But I had given certain managers assurances that he was still banned when they applied for teams in 119, making it a difficult situation. I decided to delay any decision til after the weekend to give myself time to think about it. Since then the support for Matthew on the forum, and via email has been overwhelming. As a result of this, and the fact it is the season of good will, Matthew will be allowed to remain as manager of his teams in 117 and 119, under his real name. And will no longer be banned from future games. I understand that some managers may be unhappy with this, and I assure them the decision was not taken lightly. I urge everyone to give Matthew another chance, and to focus on the positive and on the game. Thanks to everyone who has shared their thoughts on this, and Happy Xmas. Ben |

Never had any problems So carry on as you are, was only little annoyed using fake names but now it’s your own name who cares |

I did a deal with this bloke and he seems alright like. Doesn't like Justin Timberlake but I wont hold that against him at this stage |

Bet this is the best present could have wished for from santa  Hopefully everyone are willing to give him another chance as most are, after all it is the season of good will. Tough decision for Ben to make, but hopefully the right one. Merry Christmas everyone |
