Just a view from a new manager about the reserve and youth squads
It's great that you have these available and you can move players up and down the squads etc...
I do think the fact you can manage these squads slightly hinders us little guy's in the transfer market. On more than a few occasions in my first 2 weeks I have noticed players for sale I know would do a job for my first team (basically 85-ish rated guys).
Before I can even consider a bid for the player he's sold or bidding is above the max and some prem team has bought the player to play in his youth team (or even worse warm the bench for the reserves lol)! I know that's up to that player if he wants to do that but the smaller teams can really struggle to bring players in as they are essentially ruled out of the swap bonanza and we cant afford to outbid other teams for players either.
I know I'm just new and I'm not looking to get anything changed but just a view from newbie with a smaller team.
I don't want to come across as a moaner because I am genuinely enjoying the game
