question.... are there any advantages having players playing for their countries at any level???

we probably all have a few but i've yet to see any advantages. do they get extra training? does it affect morale? does their value go up? have yet to see any injuries but i assume they can and will occur, so what advantages are there?

I know from bitter experience it can have a "Negative" effect on fitness levels!

Doesn't value go up if they are internationals?

It was suggested to me that it helped players confidence and morale therefore contributing to stats rise. So as a result I called up most of my German players and all of which have gone up in stats since on more than one occasion. Call it bias but if I didn't feel they could do a job I wouldn't call them up, but my priority is my club and as this helps then damn right I'll do it.

Meaning you dont play a 35FR 93OA in Draxler or a 34 PL / FR 92OA with LEA because they do not play for Wolfsburg?

No, Draxler doesn't play because Ozil and Schurrle are both 36 and 35 PV FR the latter with POT and GSI and as for PL Gundogan and Kroos are also 36 PL therefore neither of those players are good enough anyway. But If they we're at Wolfsburg, i would find a place for them somewhere as I said I tend to prioritize my club players.

Ooooh, Jay!
I fear we may be on sandy foundations. It may be the failing memory of an aging man but I seem to recall Germany in Game 99 being similarly mismanaged in favour of Koln. I think that you ran both....
Perhaps Banksy can help me out on this one?
The idea of International management is to be an additional bit of fun for anyone interested, and those who are fortunate to be given a side should be doing their best, just like they would for their club side.
Sadly, it gets abused by those who either wish to use it as a scouting tool and then, having exhausted their options, dump their charges and apply elsewhere, or, by those who wish to further their own club players at a potential cost to others.

What i will add is its fortunate that i have 3 or 4 German players who are more than deserving of a call up and judging by our current record its serving me well. if its not broken...
