5 Weeks would be too short, and 10 feels long but is probably about right.

7 would be a happy medium if a change were made - thats a quarter of a season.

Keep the 10 weeks rule in place, you need to have consistent rules across all formats of the game.

But perhaps make a tweak from the HFG onwards that the only exception to the rule would be is if the POT player brings in a player from a club who are heavily in debt (beyond -£25m) or there must be at least £20m difference in the max values of the players concerned if dealing within the first 10 weeks. This way at least if a manager is going to lose a POT player he must be getting a player of considerable value back in return.

Leaving it as it is IMO freezes the smallest teams out of the market for when the big clubs move on there best players.

In an EFG I'd leave it as it is. 10 weeks worked fine.

In the HFG it should be different as pot players are in such high demand small clubs need to cash in.

Could it be added to the game that pot raises value?

Giving a player added potential sets his potential values to very high and I understand having that status can be a big part of transfer negotiations. But the reason 'added potential' doesn't increase a player's value is that it is possible that a player without 'added potential' could have greater potential than someone who does.

Makes sense that, then in my opinion HFG should have no delay as people can see their long term potential and are invaluable in getting a deal.

In EFG keep it as is for 1 more game at least.

I disagree (sorry gary).

I feel HFG are hard formatted games that are meant to be challenging allow players to move freely with potential from turn 1 isnt right and im glad this change was brought in.

Look at Real Madrid in 117 for example, Jay easily has 16-20 POT players, yet his sitting in relegation zone he went and made silly swaps for the hope he will have worldies by season 3. It didnt work and now he is suffering.

I would still agree with the guys above that maybe the weeks might need reducing slightly, but i dont think one game format should have it and the other shouldnt.
